RF Engineer

PMT RF Power Products is seeking a highly motivated mid-level RF Engineer to design high power RF amplifiers and related products. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a BSEE, and must have 3-5 years of direct experience designing HF, VHF and UHF amplifiers, at 50W CW output power and above. Design experience must include VMOS and LDMOS transistors, conventional and transmission line transformers, and preferably a mix of linear and non-linear topologies including classes A, AB, and high efficiency pulsed and CW designs. The engineer will be responsible for design from concept to production release, and will include RF amplifier simulation and modeling, PCB design, amplifier testing and validation, schematic and BOM entry, and production support.

Sr RF Electronic Technician

The applicant must have 5 years experience testing, troubleshooting and repairing of UHF/VHF RF amplifiers. The applicant must have a formal electronic education including radio frequency amplifier theory. The applicant must have an understanding of and be able to use all necessary testing equipment associated with measuring parameters such as return loss, gain, distortion, frequency response, efficiency, etc.  The applicant must be able to troubleshoot to the component level using logical methodologies. For applicants who qualify, there will be a written test plus interview to explore knowledge base and experience.
